Evolution of the physical properties with Na content in the cobalt oxide superconductors NaxCoO2 center dot 1.3H(2)O
We report measurements on the cobalt oxide superconductors NaxCoO2 (.) 1.3H(2)O over a wide Na content range x = 0.25-0.34, using X-ray diffraction, susceptibility and Co-59 nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) techniques. We find that T, increases with decreasing x but reaches to a plateau for x <= 0.28, which correlates closely with the NQR frequency that measures the occupancy of the Co 3d-orbitals.
