This study explored the “family members’ link coordination” phenomenon from a psychological perspective, defined as enjoying matching fashions and wearing matching clothes by parents and children or brothers and sisters. In Study 1, we conducted an interview survey with mothers (n=4) raising infants and toddlers. In Study 2, we conducted a questionnaire survey with female university students (n=89) on their experience of conducting or observing “link coordination among family members.” Based on the results, we have discussed how to enjoy the phenomenon and the phenomenon's effects on surrounding people.
