本研究では，双子コーデ，すなわち，主に友人関係にある2 人が同じ洋服や装飾アイテムを用いて，同一の全身コーディネートをすることで，双子のように演出するファッションに着目し，双子コーデ現象について心理学的に検討することを目的とする。研究1 では，Twitter上の双子コーデに関する写真を分類し，双子コーデ現象を確認し，その特徴を整理した。研究2 では，双子コーデをする理由と，双子コーデの経験や双子コーデに対する評価について，女子大学生を対象に検討を行った。研究3 では，双子コーデの経験や評価の男女比較と，友人への欲求や友人関係のスタイルとの関連を検討した。総合考察において，双子コーデの特徴を整理した。すなわち，双子コーデは，友人関係と想定される同性友人が，同じ洋服や装飾アイテム，もしくは同じ洋服の色や柄違いを用いて，同一であるように全身をコーディネートし，双子のように演出することであり，女性を中心とした現象と整理された。また，双子コーデをすることによって，お互いの関係を確認し，深めており，同時に，双子コーデには，自分たちの関係の深さを，周囲の他者に呈示していることも明らかになった。
The purpose of this study is to examine psychology about “Futago -corde” phenomenon. “Futago -code” is one of fashion coordination by two people who are in a friend relationship, mainly using the same clothes and decorative items to make the same whole body, like a twin. In Study1, photographs on Twitter called “Futago corde” were classified to confirm “Futago corde” phenomenon, and arranged its characteristics. In Study2, reasons, experience and evaluation of “Futago -corde” were investigated for female college students. In Study3, Gender difference of the evaluation of “Futago corde”, and the relationship between the experience of “Futago corde” and friendship style were examined. In consideration, characteristics of “Futago corde” were described that same-sex friends supposed to be friends, using the same clothes or decorative items, or the color and pattern difference of the same clothes, to produce a twin-like effect, a fashionable phenomenon prevalent in women. It was also revealed that “Futago corde” confirmed and deepened the relationship with the opponent, and presented the depth of their relationship to other people.
