In this study, I clarified what kind of value Hiroshima Toyo Carp (hereinafter abbreviated to as “Carp”) fans feels against Carp. In addition, Carp investigated during the lowest period of the Central League. It was clear that the fans were not satisfied with the results of Carp. However, as the number of audiences increased, it was inferred that other value for Carp had occurred. Also, fans thought that not only expecting Carp’s victory, but also supporting the Carp was positioned as a part of the fans’ daily lives. And it was shown that not only male fans but also female fans had gained much support on questions about Kuroda that was talked about at the time, so to support players who became a topic like Kuroda, it was presumed that they felt value to. In addition, they confirmed that they are also expecting for young players’ success and growth process.
