Waste heat recovery using a thermo-electric de vice is a promising approach for improving the total thermal efficiency of internal combustion engines for automotive use. This paper reports the development of test equipment for such waste heat recovery for a water-cooled diesel engine with carbon-neutral fuel to encourage multidisciplinary collaboration.
