A heavy-fermion compound with very low carrier concentration, Yb4As3, was investigated with the 75As nuclear quadropole resonance (NQR) technique between 2 and 200 K. The spin lattice relaxation rate, View the MathML source, follows the T1T = constant law in the very narrow temperature range between 10 and 20 K and becomes almost independence of temperature below 4 K, which suggests that the ground-state properties of Yb4As3 are not so simple to be described by the Fermi liquid picture.
