The geology, topology, fauna, and flora of the alpine and subalpine zone between the Takase Dam and Otanihara in Toyama and Nagano Prefecture were researched. Sandstone, tuff, and andesite samples were collected on Mt. Jiigatake. About 45 species and 130 individuals of insects were collected. The number of insects found in this research was relatively small. This may be due to the timing of this research being out of sync with the onset of flower-visiting insects. And 2308 distribution data of plants were extracted from Exif information of photographs.
