The geology, topology, fauna, and flora of the alpine and subalpine zone between Oritate and Mt. Suisho-dake in Toyama Prefecture were researched. Plant fossils were collected on Mt. Suisho-dake. About 65 species and 160 individuals of insects were collected. Beetles were found on the flowers of Angelica sp.. More than a dozen larvae of Papilio machaon were observed in Takamagahara, located at an altitude of about 2,100 m. This is interesting because it suggests that this species breeds at high altitudes. And 5,737 distribution data of plants were extracted from Exif information of photographs.
