Waste heat recovery (WHR) and power genera tion using thermo-electric device (TED) is one of the methods to consider in order to improve total thermal efficiency in internal combustion engines (ICE) for automotive. This paper focuses on the experimental investigation of power generation through battery charging using water-cooled diesel engine, thermo-electric module (TEM) and power con version circuit of DC-DC converter.
