Improvement of Reflex Score Accuacy by Estimating the force to support the lower leg in Pendulum-test
According to our experience, lower-leg support force (RSF) remaining on the way of pendulum-test (PT) acts as a noise frequently and makes reflex score deteriorate. In this paper, we show the process of discovering the existence of RSF and a estimation method for it. The existence of RSF was confirmed from the shape distortion of the knee joint angular acceleration waveform in PT. And,estimations are performed by an inverse simulator that implements a conventional PT model that also includes the effects of RSF. The effects is represented as a function derived by experimentation. Validity of the method is shown by the the value of squared error between the waveform measured in pendulum-test and estimated one in the inverse simulator. |
