Experimental Study on Strength and Stiffness of Panel-to-Base Connections in Diagonally Planned CLT Walls
In the present study, horizontal loading tests of panel-to-base connections in CLT walls located diagonally at various angles are performed to clarify their behavior. Then their behavior and restoring force characteristics are compared with those evaluated by the conventional prediction for diagonally planned seismic walls in Japanese timber-frame construction. Also biaxial bending formulation with respect to both in-plane behavior and out-of-plane one, for panel-to-base connections in diagonally planned CLT walls is performed and the prediction by the present formulation is compared with the above test results. |
