To assess the impact of the heavy flood of western Japan in 2018 on the flora of the Oda-gawa river, we collected and listed specimens of angiosperms growing along the Oda-gawa river in Yakage-cho and Kurashiki-shi (Mabi-cho), Okayama prefecture, Japan, from April to November 2022 and in March and May 2023. In total, 203 taxa of 134 genera, 42 families were identified. Among these, 117 taxa of 82 genera, 32 families were native plants, out of which four taxa of four genera, four
families are categorized as endangered plants in either Okayama Prefecture or Japan. Furthermore, 86 taxa of 67 genera, 26 families are exotic or naturalized plants.
