The Exploratory Learning connects Life Environment Studies with The Periods for Integrated Studies

In elementary schools, Children are exploratory learners in the life environment studies and the periods for integrated studies. The purpose of this study is to explore how university students think of their learning experiences in the periods for integrated studies in their elementary school days. Through the results of questionnaires, it became clear that they were learning from a variety of experiences. They felt that they had grown through exploratory learning. Children find problems to be solved in the close and local community in life environment studies, and they find a task to try in the local community and an international society in the periods for integrated studies. These two study areas are very similar. Teachers should grasp these learning as a continuum of learning and should foster the abilities of their students.
